New Environmental Section in Church Library
Members of the Environmental Mission Group have donated five new books to help us explore our relationship with God's Creation through our faith and actions. For practical ideas, look for "The Carbon Buster's Home Energy Handbook," "The Eco-Foods Guide," and "Life, Money & Illusion." For a theological grounding of Christians' care for the earth, browse "Holy Ground: A Gathering of Voices on Caring for Creation" and "Love God, Heal Earth," a collection of essays edited by Interfaith Power and Light founder, Sally Bingham. Visit the group's second floor bulletin board to view copies of the book covers.

Church Supper Garden: Goodness Grows!
WSBC volunteers are combining their gardening know-how and community spirit to cultivate the church gardens for the second year in a row. From cilantro to eggplant to cucumbers, the gardens, located at the Old house and the Lutz farm, are full of herbal and veggie goodness! Produce will be used for Wednesday night church suppers and given away to members and guests after Sunday worship. Volunteers communicate regularly via email regarding projects in the gardens. For more information, please contact Laura Webb Smith.
