Gene Derryberry as our Intentional Interim Pastor. Rev. Derryberry works with the Center for Congregational Health and over the years, has served as the Intentional Interim Pastor of many congregations. He is specially trained to lead congregations through important periods of transition, helping the congregation explore its heritage, mission, leadership, and connection to the wider Church before beginning the formal search for a new pastor. Rev. Derryberry begins his ministry with us on May 7.  ]]></content:encoded>

	On May 2, Emily and Ralph McCoy tell about their recent trip to Palestine and Israel, while shedding light on the Palestine/Israel conflict.</p>

	On May 9, the Peace and Reconciliation Mission Group leads <em>Reflections on the Amendment 1 Vote. </em></p>
<p>
	May16 is currently open to allow for use by the Interim Search Committee.</p>
<p>
	On May 23 at 6:30 we’re all invited to enjoy end-of-the year Children’s Choir Celebration, in the sanctuary.</p>
<p>
	May 30 is the final Wednesday night supper of the spring. On that night the only programming is the Vacation Bible School preparation meeting.</p>
<p>
	During the summer, we gather for supper on the 4<sup>th</sup> Wednesday of each month: June 27, July 25, and August 22.</p>

	In addition, another study option for adults is offered each week through May 16.&nbsp;Debra Freeman leads <em>Walking Through the Psalms: A Journey of Life and of Faith </em>from 6:30 - 7:15 p.m. in the Norris-Tillman Ladies Seminar classroom. The group uses Psalms as its text, exploring their types and meanings, as well as how we find relevance today in this ancient poetry. Opportunities to write/journal one’s own “heart songs” are also provided.&nbsp;</p>
